Convenient public transport links take you into Keswick and on into the beautiful Borrowdale valley where you can use the Keswick Launch service to transport you to & from your walking route. Walking and Mountain Biking Trails are available in the Whinlatter Forest Park which is just 5 miles out of the village. Whinlatter Forest Park is also the home of the information centre for the famous Lakeland Ospreys.
